Moreover, the nonwoven polypropylene support layer increases the overall dimension stability of the membrane, preventing the membrane from curling or losing its shape during processing, making further processing more seamless and efficient, and also enable the filter membrane to withstand the high-pressure conditions often encountered during gas sterilization and liquid clarification processes without breaking or rupturing.
